In 2014, Lisa and Dirk Kupar knew first hand that time was a highly valuable and elusive asset for the industry, because they were in the thick of it with their own truck driver leasing company. Back then, the husband-and-wife team were weighed down with day-to-day tasks and paperwork. They wanted to simplify the side of the business you don’t see rolling down the highway: recruiting, onboarding, training and compliance. They needed to save the time eaten up by all of the above.

So they set out to work towards a solution to gain back their time. They realized that streamlining their overwhelming regulatory and people paperwork would free up time to focus on connecting with their people, building company culture, and running their business.

That’s when the TruckRight software platform was born

It wasn’t a business in its own right at first: rather a solution to save time while keeping their own company staffed and compliant. But knowing the industry as well as they did, it wasn’t long before they realized they weren’t the only ones who could benefit from all that TruckRight had to offer. So they decided to share it with their friends and peers across North America.
